Shangela, a former contestant on RuPaul’s Drag Race on Logo, performs as part of “USC is Burning” in the Ronald Tutor Campus Center Ball Room on Friday. The event, sponsored by GPSS, LGBT Resources and QuASA, was loosely based on Paris is Burning, a documentary about drag culture in Bronx, NY in the 1980s.

USC’s Graduate and Professional Student Senate, in partnership with USC Transportation and Los Angeles County Metro, has launched a program that provides discounted Metro TAP cards to full-time graduate students.
